This Season's Trendiest Winter Wedding Bouquets

Over the years brides have been breaking the mold, becoming more daring and open to new trends as opposed to staying traditional when it comes to their bridal bouquets. If you're planning for a winter wedding and looking for some ideas for a different take on your bridal bouquet, check out the inspiration boards I've created showcasing the top winter trends (and my favs of course) that are sure to add some warmth into a perfect winter wedding day...

BLING BOUQUETS
It's no surprise that brides are always looking to include a little (or a lot) of bling in their wedding and with that said, they are starting to ditch the fresh flowers for something a bit more sparkly these days.
For the bride who wants to sparkle from head to toe or just add a bit of shimmer to her ensemble, bling bouquets are becoming very sought-after by brides all over--and of course are the perfect touch to a white winter wedding. These bouquets can be bought already made with nothing but crystals and bling encrusted throughout, while others can be created by simply mixing in several crystallized or pearl brooches with your fresh flower bouquet.

POPS OF COLOR
It is very important to know that not every winter wedding needs to be WHITE. While white is beautiful and one of the most preferred bouquet colors by brides, pale and pastel colors have been popping up in bouquets this season and I must say...with the perfect winter setting--white snow grounds appearing like clouds under your feet and branches dusted in powder in the distance, it really is BREATHTAKING! The pale colors leave the bouquet still looking delicate and fancy, while still incorporating whites and ivories as well as a touch of greenery. It's simply beautiful!

FEATHER BOUQUETS
Whether you like feather detailing or want an entire bouquet made out of them, this is definitely one trend that is making a statement. Feathers are a great addition to any bouquet, giving it a fuller and more luxurious feel. Many winter brides choose to wear beautiful white fur shawls or jackets and this would be a great accessory to pair with that look.

FOLIAGE DETAILS

Adding foliage details like greenery, multi-colored leaves, pine, branches, berries or fern adds drama and texture to any bouquet. Straying away from the preferred rose bouquet, some brides choose a more adventurous route, such as creating bouquets solely out of pine-cones or babysbreath or choosing flowers and plants that are most popular this time of year, such as poinsettias.

Yours Truly,
FG
