SIGNATURE COCKTAILS

Signature cocktails have become all the rage at weddings and I think they are a great personal touch.

Usually there are one or two signature cocktails, one picked by the bride and/or one from the groom. Many times it is their favorite drink of choice or just a spruced up, yummy cocktail that correlates with the theme or color of the night.
I'm a huge fan of cute signage and old fashioned straws. But let's be honest, when it comes down to it, it's all about the presentation and of course we can't forget the name of the cocktail is key! This is something great that the bride and groom can have fun with at their reception.

There are so many ways to go about presentation of your signature cocktail depending on your style and personality as a couple, just a few of my favorite below!

WEDDING DAY EMERGENCY KIT

Check out how to make this super cute DIY Bridal Kit at OhHappyDay ... Great gift for the Bride!

So I'm sure we all know the day of a wedding, although lovely, is EXTREMELY chaotic and moves at the speed of light. So for all you brides and/or Maid of Honors this may be helpful.

In the week leading up to the big day, make sure to have everything you need packed up for the day of, so you're not running around like a chicken without a head that morning.

Be sure to pack what I like to call a "Holy Sh*t Kit" (excuse my french) or simply a wedding day Emergency Kit. :)

Below are the most important items in my opinion for your wedding day, feel free to pick and choose or even add!

1. BAND-AIDS: For those blisters from your shoes…
2. BREATH MINTS: Keep your mouth fresh and don’t chomp on gum, it doesn’t make for pretty pictures.
3. CLEAR NAIL POLISH: The perfect quick fix for runs in your stockings
4. BOBBY PINS: Always good to have tons of these. Your hair may need fixing by the time you get to the reception.
5. TISSUES: To blot your lips, wipe those tears or keep those underarms dry…hey it happens.
6. DEODORANT:  It’s going to be a looong day, someone will need it.
7. COLOR NAIL POLISH: Try to get the color polish the bride has on, in case of any chips.
8. LOTION: It will keep you looking glowing, especially in those outdoor photos.
9. ASPIRIN: Nothing is getting in your way today!
10. COMPACT MIRROR: For quick touch-ups.
11. HAIR SPRAY: To keep your hair perfectly in place, we don’t want any flyaways in those pictures. Also works great to prevent slippery shoes. Just spray a little hairspray on the sole of your shoe and wah-la…you don’t have to worry about slipping when you’re showing off those dance moves.
12. ANTACID: Just in case your nerves get the best of you.
13. DRINKING STRAWS: Sip drinks without messing up your lipstick.
14. LINT ROLLER
15. SNACKS: So much going on and especially since it will be a long day for the bride and her party, don’t forget snacks….we don’t want anyone passing out mid photo opp, especially in these scorching summer months.
16. EYE DROPS: To keep your eyes refreshed and awake all day and night.
17. SAFETY PINS: Last-minute fix to any misbehaving outfits or boutonnieres!
18. STAIN REMOVER: A must!
19. WATER: Stay hydrated!
20. DRINKING STRAW: We don’t want to mess up our lipstick or have any spillage on that white dress.
20. STATIC GUARD: Especially with light fabrics like chiffon, this is a must!
21. SEWING KIT: For any wardrobe malfunctions or emergency repairs!
22. DOUBLE STICK TAPE: To prevent any unexpected boobage shows.
23. DENTAL FLOSS: Spinach in your teeth is a bad look for pictures.
24. ON THE GO DISPOSABLE TOOTH BRUSH
25. LIPSTICK/GLOSS: Always keep the brides lipstick/gloss handy for re-application.
26. BODY SPRAY/PERFUME: In case you need a boost of freshness from running around all day
27. EARRING BACKS: In case you lose one.
28. TAMPONS: Just in case!
29. Q-TIPS: To wipe any smeared eye makeup...always does the trick without making it worse.

This a must have for the bride...so MOH make sure you have this in hand and ready to go! And for my brides...this also makes a really cute DIY gift addition for your bridesmaids to have the day of by making them a mini "Bridemaid Emergency Kit."version.

Happy Wedding Day!

Yours Truly,
